Yosemite Daily Photo, View from summit of Pat & Jack Pinnacle 1/24/11

Had a chance to climb to the summit of Pat and Jack Pinnacles today in this beautiful spring like weather. These pinnacles are in the lower Merced River Canyon about 1/4 of a mile west of Cascade Waterfall on Hwy 140.

They are several hundred feet high and offer spectacular views of the canyon waterfalls, rivers and cliffs. I climbed in a t-shirt and shorts as it was so warm.
