Yosemite Daily Photo, Smoke pouring into the Tuolumne River drainage & Tuolumne 8/3/10

The Slope Fire, a lightning caused fire, is on the south side of Hetch Hetchy at the east end of the reservoir. It is really not that far from White Wolf. The fire is pumping out some good smoke today which then flows up the Tuolumne river drainage into Tuolumne Meadows in the afternoon.

This photo is looking north east towards Glen Aulin from high on a dome in Tuolumne Meadows. Mt Conness is on the far right.
