Yosemite Daily Photo , Yosemite Falls & El Capitan, 6/2/10
The huge crowds that were seen over the holiday weekend have left and we seem to be into a summer visitation pattern where it is really not that bad. The lines at the entrance stations are not very long and there is no gridlock in Yosemite Valley. There is the usual backup at Lower Yosemite Falls but that is expected.
There is a slight cool down coming on Thursday and Friday but then things are really going to heat up with near 100's in the Central Valley next week, summer is finally here.
Look for some BIG water next week if we get into the 80's.
Here we have Yosemite Falls this morning at 9am and El Capitan with the swollen Merced River.
