We have been having perfect weather with temps in the 90's in Yosemite Valley and in the high 70's in Tuolumne Meadows.

The park has been VERY crowded this summer and Tuolumne is no exception. All areas are packed with parking hard to find by mid afternoon. Tenaya Lakes beach was totally packed yesterday afternoon and for good reason as the water is perfect for cooling off.

In this photo taken from the slopes of Tenaya Peak you are looking down on the white sands of the east end Tenaya lake beach. In the back ground are the domes of Tuolumne and the north end of the park.
