Today dawned with lots of clouds streaming up from the south and coupled with today's hot temperatures we could be in for some afternoon thunderstorms.

Todays photo is of Mirror Lake which is a nice little hike from Shuttle Bus stop 17. These days it is not much of a lake as it has filled in over the years but you can still catch a nice reflection of Mt Watkins and Clouds Rest. Old photos show folks palying hockey on the lake and they also cut out ice in the winter to cool food.

Make sure you hike the extra 1/4 mile past the rest room to see the real lake. Most folks stop right at the rest room thinking that is the lake.
