Yosemite's high country is slowly waking and warming up after a cold and wet spring. Workers are hard at work getting ready all the services and the Tuolumne Meadow Store is to open this Friday, 6/25. Daily operating hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Effective Wednesday, June 30 the daily operating hours will change to 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m

Other services will open in the coming weeks with no word on when the Tuolumne Meadows Campground will open. It is still pretty wet in there.

It is perfect weather with no snow in the immediate Tuolumne Meadows area but be ready for hiking through lots of snow if you venture far off the beaten path. The mosquitoes are also starting to come out.

Be aware that there is no running water or toilets int Tuolumne until maybe this weekend. There are porta potties available.
