The days have been heating up finally and with the huge snowpack we still have in the high country the rivers and waterfalls are really putting on a spectacular display.
There is a flood warning for Yosemite Valley for the next couple of days and water may creep up on to roads and trails and some camping sites may be closed.
If you haven't had a chance there is nothing quite like walking in Yosemite Valley in the full moon with all the thundering water. It just booms and echos through the valley at night as all the car/bus/harley noise is gone.
This photo was taken last night and shows Yosemite Falls illuminated by the full moon. It really is almost this bright you can easily walk around with out a headlamp.
I was trying to catch the moonbow but from this angle it never materialized. You can see slight color at the very top of the falls.
