Yosemite Daily Photo, Thunderstorms hit Yosemite 7/29 & 31

The big High Country thunderstorms fired up in Yosemite yesterday. From Hwy 395 on the east side, over the crest and through Tuolumne Meadows out to Olmsted Point it poured rain with lots of lightning and thunder. The rain started about 3pm and ran through sundown. The rainbow and sunset in Tuolumne Meadows was spectacular.
Today is a repeat and maybe they will make it all the way out to Yosemite Valley.
