Yosemite Daily Photo, Carving of Chief Ahwahnee in Yosemite Valley
These carvings are on a Cedar Tree in Yosemite Valley and are very hard to find. I was shown them 20 years ago and went back to refind them and had a really hard time. After several searches I rediscovered them.
Legend has it that they were carved by hippes in the 70's. Anybody know anything about these? Please do not reveal the location as they might get defaced.
