Hwy 120 & 140 Work and Closure

This is just west of the Hwy 120 and Hwy 140 junction in Yosemite. A large rock fell across Hwy 120 on 1/22/12 and is inbetween Hwy 120 and 140. 
 
It is our intent to begin drilling the large rock perched above El Portal Rd just West of the Big Oak Flat Rd junction in preparation for blasting, beginning Tuesday September 4, 2012. We would like to schedule the blast for 6:00 PM on Wednesday Sept 19, 2012. Be advised that this blast will entail a potential 2 hour closure of both Big Oak Flat and the El Portal Rd. There will be a great deal of planning, coordinating and informing for this project, so if there are any questions objections or concerns, it would very much appreciated if they could be voiced sooner rather than later.
