Exhibit of Early Yosemite Visitor Photographs and Souvenirs A Window to the Past: New Exhibit in Yosemite National Park to Feature Early Visitor Photographs and Souvenirs Yosemite National Park, CA....A new exhibit entitled “View & Visitors: The Yosemite Experience in the 19th Century,” will open to the public on June 16, 2010. The exhibit, in the Yosemite Valley Museum features paintings, prints, artifacts and ephemera from Yosemite’s early years. An exhibit opening reception will be held on June 15 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. located in the Yosemite Valley Museum. There is no cost to attend and food and drink will be served at the reception.... Tenaya Lake Plan meetings Yosemite National Park Announces Public Meetings and Site Visits for the Tenaya Lake Plan Yosemite National Park announces a public meeting for the Tenaya Lake Plan. The meeting will take place on July 10, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Yosemite Valley Auditorium behind the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center. Park staff will discuss the Tenaya Lake Plan including alternative actions, proposed resource restoration and protected sites, and proposed visitor facility changes. The public meeting is an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Tenaya Lake Plan. It is also used as an opportunity for the park to hear concerns and comments regarding the planning effort and alternative actions of the plan.
