Yosemite Daily Photo , Burned forest looking down into Foresta, 6/17/10

This is a photo from the series of Foresta Lupine flowers that I have been shooting and shows the burnt forest and looks south into Foresta and Big Meadow.

Foresta and the surrounding area was burned last August by a NPS set control burn that got out of control. It burned for weeks, almost burned down the homes in Foresta and shut down some parts of Yosemite.

Some good has come out of this, the wild flowers!
